How can I participate in Djugo?

To participate in the Djugo service, please enter via internet.  If you come across one of the Djugo-promotions on the internet, you fill in your cell phone number on the landingpage.
After filling in your number on the landing page, you will receive a free of charge message containing the PIN code (used for confirmation) and all applicable terms and conditions (pricing, info, how to end). You then have to insert that PIN code on the landing page in order to start playing, by doing so you agree with the terms and conditions.
After inserting the PIN code your entrance is activated. You will first receive a free of charge confirmation message containing the applicable terms. After the confirmation message, the first question will be shown on the landing page and will be sent to you via text. This second message is the first premium message charged at $1,99.
You may choose to answer the question. Each correctly answered question will earn you points. No points will be awarded for incorrectly answered questions. In case of an incorrectly answered question, you will be informed that the question is not correct and you’ll receive a new question. Upon answering the question, the system will continuously send additional questions each time you answer the previous question. In the event no question is answered by you, no additional questions will be sent.

Via free entry method:
You can also enter the contest free of charge by sending an email to [email protected]. Please provide next information in this email: what is the campaign (prize) you would like to play for, what is your (cell) phone number, what is your name and what is your email address.
After sending this information you will receive an email response with 25 questions. After filling in your answers, you can email the list with your answers to [email protected]. You will then receive a new list with another 25 questions to solve. The maximum number of questions you can solve is 50 per campaign.
This service is not a subscription service. You will not receive any messages if you don’t play. For more information, please check the FAQ. On the website or contact our customer service, by telephone or e-mail. The contact data can be found on the website under ‘Contact’ section.

How much is it to participate? 
The minimum costs to participate are $1,99. For every message sent you will pay $1,99. By each question answered, correctly and incorrectly, you will receive a message charged at $1,99 per text message received. Messaging and data rates billed by your carrier may apply, depending on the terms of your individual mobile service plan. Please contact your carrier for more information on the charges imposed by them.

Is Djugo a subscription service?  
Djugo is NOT a subscription service. You decide how much you play. If you stop answering you will not receive any more messages.

Can I win prizes with Djugo?
Djugo is a place to test your knowledge with trivia games with multiple choice and open ended questions. We do offer promotional prizes for specific Products & Prizes. The winner is the person with the highest score at the end of the promotion period. See ‘Promotional Conditions’ and/or ‘Promotions’ for more information.

When will I hear whether or not I won a prize? 
Within 5 working days after closing a promotion, the winner will be contacted via their cell phone number that was used in the subscription. If this person cannot be reached, number 2 will be called. This process will repeat itself until we can get a hold of someone. The winner will be called during one week, twice a day. If the phone is not answered, no claims can be made to the prize. The results are not open to correspondence.

When will I receive my prize? 
The prizes will be delivered at the address provided by the winner within 2 months after being provided the address by the winner, or in case of a cash prize, credited to an appointed bank account number after being provided with the account number of the winner or issued by cheque. Djugo reserves the right to replace the product / service with a similar product / service of equal value. The prize must be accepted as offered, and is not transferable or severable. Djugo is not responsible for delays caused by mail or other suppliers.

Where will the winners be mentioned? 
The list of winners will be uploaded on this website under “Promotions”.

Who will be excluded from participating? 
Everyone under 18 years old, and without permission of their legal representative, guardian or payer of the cell phone bill. Residents of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Maryland, Tennessee and Vermont are not eligible to participate in the Djugo game and or win prizes.
Employees of R&D Media or affiliated companies are also excluded from participating.

My child has entered, I did not grant permission for this, how is this possible? 
On our landing pages it is clearly stated that people under the age of 18 years old are excluded from participating, unless they have permission from a legal representative, guardian or payer of the cell phone bill. By subscribing and/or participating in the service, we presume that the participant in the quiz has obtained the necessary permission, consent or approval from the legal representative, guardian or payer of the cell phone bill. We cannot be held accountable or responsible for this. To unsubscribe your child, please send (with the concerned cell phone number) STOP to 44644. Another way to unsubscribe the service your child has subscribed to is to contact our customer service at the number 1-877-777-4715. Please always mention your cell phone number.

Can I play for more prizes at one time? 
It is possible to play for multiple prizes at once. The points you scored during playing will be registered per service.

Will my total score be maintained if I unsubscribe? 
The moment you unsubscribe for a prize, your total of gained points will be maintained, and you will still have a chance at that prize. The points will be saved until the end of the promotion period.
